Can you play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on a Mac?
Short answer: No. Modern Warfare III is protected by RICOCHET Anti-Cheat, whose Windows kernel-level driver Wine-based tools like Grapple can't load.
What we know
Activision's RICOCHET overview names Modern Warfare III among the titles its systems protect, and states that those titles use a kernel-level driver for all players on PC.
Grapple is built on Wine, which runs Windows programs in user space without a Windows kernel. A kernel-mode anti-cheat driver has nothing to load into, and no Grapple setting changes that — only the game's publisher can.
AreWeAntiCheatYet lists Modern Warfare III as broken on Linux/Proton, and GamingOnLinux's anti-cheat list says the same. Proton is built on Wine, like Grapple.
